The Possibilities of
a Question-Driven Approach to Life™

The sky was the limit

What if your mind was not meant to be a problem for you? Because for a lot of people, it is.

“A person’s life is the answer to the questions they ask.”

– R. Buckminster Fuller,
Engineer, designer, social philosopher

What if the difficulty of quieting unwanted mental activity is due to an inaccurate understanding of the mind?

Accurately understood, the mind is a person’s greatest resource.

What is the Question-Driven Approach™?

It is breakthrough thoughtware which uses the mind the way it was designed. The annoying chatter of what Buddhists call the monkey mind indicates a person does not understand their mind’s operating system and is, therefore, operating on default mode. The QDA is an effective way of talking with oneself that results in more productive mental activity.

The Question-Driven Approach™ offers a breakthrough in understanding how the mind operates, an understanding that offers relief for people experiencing boring, unproductive or negative mental activity. It offers a breakthrough for people who are creating a new reality and who know their thoughts matter.

Remember this formula. It describes the mind’s question-driven operating system.

I = f (Q)

Intelligence is a function of questions.

What is the QDA™ Program?

The QDA program is a six-month online and live training in the art of questioning. It begins with a 2-hour masterclass in which we cover the basics of the question-driven mind, followed by 6 months of question lab, which is where members apply the QD Approach to transform every-day life.

The Master Class is where a new understanding of thinking and the mind begins. The Master Class is information that has been proven effective for professional project management teams, executive teams, non-profit organizations, individuals and families.

The Question Lab is where all the action takes place, videos, experimentation, classes, research. Most of all, the Q-Lab is a community of curious thinkers exploring the possibilities of self-improving human intelligence where members can practice using deliberate questions to discover new possibilities in every area of life, personal and professional.

“What else is possible?” is the guiding question of the Q-Lab. No subject is off limits.

Who is the Question-Driven Approach™ Program for?

It is for people who care about what goes on in their heads and have been frustrated in their efforts to tap into its true potential, people who desire access to mental power they suspect they have but don’t know how to access it.

This work is for parents, executives, therapists, team leaders, teachers and coaches—people who rely on communication skills to connect quickly to the core of a situation.

It is for people who simply want to end the struggle in their heads.

Why is accessing our greater intelligence so important at this time?

I am sharing this discovery at this time because you and I stand at a pivotal point in history, both individually and globally. We need all the clarity and mental power we can get because the stakes are undeniably high.  For example, what shall our appropriate relationship with AI be as we move forward?

If you are not using your mind, someone else is.

I believe there is a war going on and it is for our attention and our minds. The rate of change in the global culture is accelerating, and our choices and decisions have a greater impact, sooner. We can no longer afford the luxury of the illusion that we are powerless and pretend that the direction we are headed is someone else’s responsibility.

What do people say about a Question-Driven Life?

Jennifer Phillips, Mentor, author of Empathalogy

“Robert’s questions help access and open the portal to my own inner knowing. His inquiries create a sense of empowerment and provide insights that generate inner peace and guidance in achieving my personal and professional goals. The power of Question-Driven Intelligence is a most valuable and inspirational tool”

Susan Boskey, Lions Roar Ministry

“The Question-Driven Life Program™…is an opportunity to allow previously untapped insights to bubble up from the vastness of who we are. It is a useful and practical way to apply honest inquiry into any situation. It prevents old worn-out approaches from repeating themselves and failing to solve the problem.”

Robert Cinque, Owner, Organic Shelter Living Systems

“Question-Driven Life™ presents new data that would not be available otherwise and opens the door to fresh ideas and new insights. Robert Bystrom has developed this method over 20 years and has mastered the art of conscious inquiry and taken what’s possible to a new level. We recommend this approach to everyone who is serious about making real progress in real time with the issues that confront them.”

About the Developer

Robert Bystrom describes himself as a friend of the pattern. He saw the holographic nature of the universe as a small boy and has had an eye for pattern and the interconnected aspect of all things ever since.

He has acted as a professional artist, educator, coach, entrepreneur, author, gardener, family man, sun bather, body surfer, appreciator of all things beautiful, mystic, outcast and other roles. The common thread through it all has been curiosity. He wonders how things work, whether it’s propaganda and mind control or how color and pigments work or what the anatomy of personal relationships and emotions are.

One such pattern that occurred to him was the consistent way that thinking seemed to follow a pattern. It took years to distill and test his theory. The result was a clear picture of how human intelligence works in individuals and how collective intelligence works in groups. It’s all about questions.

At this phase in life, his question is, “What am I uniquely positioned to contribute to humanity that no one else is doing?”

The Question-Driven Approach™ Program is one answer to that question. It’s a big experiment because the territory of the question-driven mind is enormous and he believes he has merely scratched the surface. He wants to see what can happen and what big questions can be invented and explored as more individuals join the expedition.

Robert’s background is in education, art and interpersonal communication.  A graduate of Cal Berkeley, a Peace Corps Volunteer in India, CEO of Springer Exercise Equipment Corp. in San Francisco and founding director of Collective Intelligence Solutions, where he further refined concepts for the Question-Driven Approach to Life™. In 1997, he co-produced the Women’s Global Voice.

He believes we all have the innate ability to perform at a higher level, to rise to new occasions, not by trying harder but by thinking more deliberately. His work can be accessed at www.MenRisingNow.com and www.RBystrom.com (Question-Driven Leadership).
